Body Part: Abs
Description
From lying on your back, raise the straight legs and torso into a high V position, passing through a hollow hold with the arms overhead. Reach the arms toward the feet and pump them in small movements while holding the V. This variation of the hundred combines abdominal tension with steady breathing.
How to Perform
- Lie on your back with legs straight and arms beside you.
- Brace your abdomen and raise the legs and shoulders into a hollow hold, reaching the arms overhead.
- Raise your torso into the high V while keeping your straight legs at their raised angle, balancing through the pelvis.
- Reach both arms toward your feet and keep the elbows straight.
- Pump the arms in small movements while holding the torso and legs steady.
- Breathe in for five pumps and out for five, then lower the body under control when finished.
